Šeremet Ivo

Ivo Šeremet (Livno, February 13, 1900 – Sarajevo, July 30, 1991), famous Bosnian-Herzegovinian fine artist of impressionist style. He was born in Livno, where he finished elementary school. In 1912, Šeremet went to Sarajevo, where he attended a real school. In 1919, his education took him to Zagreb, and then to Vienna, i.e. Kraków, where he graduated from the art academy. Until the beginning of the Second World War, Šeremet lived and created in Belgrade, and then from 1941 to 1948 again in Zagreb, from where he returned to Sarajevo, where he remained for the rest of his life.
