Petrović Roman Roman Petrović (Donji Vakuf October 1, 1896 - Sarajevo 1947) was a painter from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1913-16) and the Higher School of Fine Arts in Budapest (1916-17), he trained in Paris. He was a drawing teacher, and then a theater set designer in Sarajevo. He painted landscapes and figural compositions in a way that is close to expressionism, then iconostases and caricatures (Branislav Nušić, A. G. Matoš). He was engaged in frescoes and book illustration. Roman Petrović is one of the founders of the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
